Ok mega crunch time, it's almost time to head out XD. ....So here's some more info about what I'll be doing and such.
I'll be living in a smaller town just north of Murakami city called Sanpoku, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanpoku. It's nestled between some lower mountains and is really close to the coast with some nice beaches. I will be living in a 1-floor duplex style house that is completely furnished . The other side of the duplex house is where the school lunch/nutritionist for the area lives and she's really nice :).
Schools:
My base school is Sanpoku Junior High, where I'll work Mondays, Wed., and Fri.afternoons. Tuesdays will be at Minami Elementary, Thursdays are Kita Elementary, and Friday mornings I'll either be at Nijiiro Kindergarten or Oozora Kindergarten. The Junior high and Kita Elementary are about a 5 minute walk away from the house I'll be at. The town is rather rural and small so the Junior High has around 130 students and the ES have around 130 or so each. So hopefully I can remember everyone's names more easily lol^^. There is also the possibility of me running an Adult Conversation class for people in the community on Tuesday nights, which will be an excellent way to meet people ^0^.
I will most likely be driving in Japan since I live so far from the city it'll make it easier for me to meet up with the other JETs and whatnot if I can drive, so wish me luck with that lol.
Ummm so that's about it for now. Nothing else that I can think of......It might take a while for me to post something once I get to Japan because I have orientation in Tokyo for a few days and then I have to get settled in and recover from jet-lag....but I'll try to post stuff and put up pictures in a speedy manner :).
